Our largest container, for the jobs that need real capacity: full estate cleanouts, commercial demolition, or large-scale construction debris.
The 40 yard doesn't come up in every call, but when a job needs it, nothing smaller will do the trick without a second delivery. We see this size most on full estate cleanouts where a family is clearing an entire house — furniture, appliances, decades of belongings — in one weekend, and on larger commercial demolition or construction jobs where the volume is simply too much for a 30 yard to handle in one load. It's a bigger footprint than our other sizes, so we always talk through placement and access before delivery to make sure it fits the property the way you need it to.

About 16 pickup truck loads, or roughly 5 tons. It's our largest size, used mainly for full estate cleanouts, commercial demolition, and the biggest construction jobs where a 30 yard would mean a second delivery.
About 22 feet long, 7.5 feet wide, and 8 feet tall. It's the same footprint as our 30 yard but taller, so placement and overhead clearance matter more — we'll walk through access with you before delivery.
Typically $475 to $700, depending on rental length and weight. It's our highest price point, but often still cheaper than renting two 20 yard containers for the same job.
For most homes, yes — a 30 yard usually covers even a fully furnished house. The 40 yard makes sense for larger homes with a garage, basement, and attic all needing to be cleared at once, or commercial-scale jobs. Call and describe the job and we'll tell you honestly if you need this size or if a 30 yard will do.
Often yes, though it's worth calling a bit earlier in the day since it's a less frequently requested size. Commercial jobs sometimes take an extra day to route the right container. See our same-day delivery page for details.
Tell us what you're clearing and we'll confirm the 40 yard is the right call, or point you to the size that actually fits.
